There's a rather interesting cookbook attributed to her: "Five-Star Favorites: Recipes From Friends of Mamie and Ike" (1974). Well, technically the author is the Eisenhower Medical Center Auxiliary, but the recipes are those she compiled over the years; some of her own and many from famous people she knew. I think she wrote a brief introduction too.
Years ago, a friend of mine had a copy he found at a yard sale for a couple of dollars. What impressed me were how simple and straightforward most of the recipes were. Nothing fancy or exotic. Tried a few with satisfactory results.
